Supply chain consists of doing the job from point of initiation to point of consumption by effectively and efficiently. Because of the recently changed environmental circumstances that affect manufacturing and delivering process, growing attention is given to the development of Green management strategies for Supply chain. This insane and cut throat competition among companies has forced and pushed the manufacturing and FMCG sectors to revamp and reorient their strategies, procedures, approaches and policies to achieve and gain a competitive edge in their operations and competitive advantage in throughout their supply chain network. In FMCG companies or process industries preferences can change with the blink of an eye. Changing customer demands, customers’ tastes towards different products, massive amount of substitute products, the shift of masses towards branded products, changing priorities of suppliers’, competition most importantly and the ever-changing technological shifts in the business worlds are all the erratic factors that are present in the environment to somehow positively and negatively impact and hinder the performance of manufacturing and FMCG companies. The purpose of the green supply at restricting the waste within the manufacturing system so as to jam energy and prevent the indulgence of detrimental materials into the environment. Researchers in study on drivers of green supply chain are disapproved for its narrow perspectives and lack of industrial relevance. So, it is a real need to find improved processes for adaptation and implementation of Green practices and green image in FMCG industries. In current scenario, the Green SCOR Model gain the importance as it is a major tool for supply chain Green Initiative. The aim of the paper is to be examining the Green Practices in the selected Pakistani FMCG.
Better drivers mentioned in the research were green design, integrated quality environmental management into the development and operation process, reducing energy consumption, and reusing and recycling resources and packing drivers.
