Abstract

The present investigation has been carried out to study the 10% sublethal concentration of individual and combined monocrotophos and neem oil on biochemical constituents of alimentary canal and ovary in the female rice grasshopper, Oxya fuscovittata. The carbohydrate, protein and lipid were estimated in alimentary canal and ovary of female grasshopper, Oxya fuscovittata exposed to monocrotophos and neem oil. The biochemical constituents were reduced drastically in the tissues from 24 hours to 96 hours.
