Pupal size measurement was carried out in three poly Voltine silkworm breeds namely, Pure Mysore, ND, and NDs and three Bivoltine silkworm breeds namely, CSR, CSRso and CSRs. Difference between male and female pupal size was observed more in polyvoltine breeds as compared to Bivoltine breeds. Importance of pupal size measurement has been discussed.
